In today's day and age, we hear plenty of stories on the news. Whether we receive our stories from regular news outlets on television, or read about them from news sources online, there’s no shortage of shocking stories released to the public on a daily basis.

Some stories are uplifting and restore our faith in humanity. While others…are just plain terrifying.
